My beautiful sister just finished her first year of teaching. We were pretty excited when her summer break came because it meant she was free to come visit! The last time she was here, Mazie was 3 weeks old! The PNW is VERY different in the winter. We were excited to show her some great places, and enjoy the PNW sunshine while she was here.
First up was the zoo!
Next, we took her to Multnomah Falls! Unfortunately due to the fire last year, the trails are closed, and the bridge was still closed when we were there. It made for beautiful photos, but I would have loved for her to at least go up to the bridge. Next time! Since it wasn’t open, we got to experience a first with her! We went to Vista House! It is gorgeous! If you’ve never been, I recommend it!
We went to see Incredibles II!
We had some fun at IKEA
We went to the Tillamook Factory and had a little fun and of course tasted the yummy cheese!
Then we went to the beach! We took Beth to our favorite spot. Hug Point. We love to play in the waterfall and build dams to redirect the water. It’s a lot of fun and so pretty. Then we ventured up the coast a little further to Cannon beach.
We even had some last minute fun at the airport before she left.
We hate living so far away, but we are so thankful for her visit and the fun memories we made while she was here. Thanks for coming to visit us, Beffer. We love you!
